How to apply to become a Trustee director

Step 1: Register your interest

If you are interested in applying to become an MND, you can nominate yourself by registering your interest with the DHL Pensions Department. You can do this by downloading and completing the registration form or you can request a form by calling 01234 264431.

Your completed registration form should be returned to the DHL Pensions Department by Tuesday 30 April 2019. Any forms received after this date will not be accepted. You can return the registration form by email or post.

Post: DHL Pensions Department, Howard House, 40-64 St Johns Street, Bedford MK42 0DJ.

Step 2: Complete an application form

Following 30 April 2019, eligible members who have registered an interest will be sent an application form to complete. The application form will be used to identify your suitability for the MND role and will require you to provide details of any experience and skills you have which will be relevant for this role. Your application form must be completed and returned to the DHL Pensions Department by Friday 31 May 2019. Application forms received after this date will not be considered.

Step 3: Attend an mnd briefing session

Candidates who have completed an application form and are suitable for the role will be selected to attend a briefing session in London about the role of an MND. After attending the briefing, candidates will be asked to confirm whether or not they wish to proceed with their application.

Step 4: Formal interview

An interview panel will then review the applications and decide on a shortlist of suitable candidates to attend a formal interview. The Interview Panel will then decide which candidate(s) are to be appointed as MND(s) although it reserves the right to appoint none if appropriate.
